A MATERIALS LABORATORYCGP EXPERT has a physical and chemical analysis laboratory integrated into CGP COATING INNOVATION’s production and innovation processes. To assist you better, CGP EXPERT places this laboratory at your service. Qualified and competent personnel at the TECHNICAL CENTER laboratory can conduct analyses on all types of flexible materials: paper, cardboard, compact cardboard, corrugated cardboard, PEHD film, PP film, barrier supports and complexes.
Equipped with control tools and measuring and testing instruments, the laboratory provides analysis services, accompanied by a detailed and commented test report.
The materials laboratory has a wide range of testing machines and has the ability to instrument tests (vertical compression strength test, COBB test, peeling/adhesion test, friction coefficient test, etc).
- Qualification of packaging components: paper, cardboard, compact cardboard, corrugated cardboard, PEHD film, PP film, barrier supports and complexes
- Characterization of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging
- Research and analysis of materials in the design process.

All these tests are performed in specific atmospheres customizable within a minimum of 24 hours:
- Temperature range without humidity control: -40°C to +180°C
- Temperature range with humidity control: +10°C to +95°C
- Humidity control range: 10% RH to 98% RH
