The Group’s CSR responsibility
Economic development is no longer conceivable without environmental and social progress. It’s also up to small and medium-sized industrial companies to play their part in creating the next virtuous models, those that encourage positive transformations in our world. CGP COATING INNOVATION is fully aware of its responsibility in its transport logistics packaging business, and of its driving role in helping to build more ecological and sustainable development models, but also in constantly improving around transversal axes that dictate the conduct of business, such as customer satisfaction, ethics and governance, and the challenges of being a responsible employer.
Organisation et gouvernance
CSR commitments involve all levels of Group governance, from employees to the Executive Committee, from operational staff to control functions, right up to the Board of Directors. All our employees are fully aware of their responsibilities, and are made aware of the importance of transparency, compliance, ethics, regulatory requirements and data protection issues.
Our 2021-2022 CSR commitment plan
- Responsible governance:• Maintain an investment plan for our production sites.• Structure the integration of new subsidiaries with the same values.
- Offer environmentally-friendly products :• Develop bio-based and/or recycled products with a high level of traceability, anticipating the expectations of external stakeholders.• Implement quality monitoring plans.• – Innovate with multifunctional products, thus limiting the number of products used simultaneously.
- Developing our civic and social contributions :• Improve health and safety culture, well-being and quality of life at work.• Supporting local associations.
- Preserving the planet’s resources :• Develop a range of solid products based on recycled materials.• Reduce the tonnage of multi-material (complex) plastics.• Reduce the tonnage of our waste or recover it by giving it a second life.
- Limit our impact on the climate :• Adjust the grammage/thickness of our products.• Increase the proportion of our references in 100% recyclable products.• Optimize our energy consumption.• Control and reduce our industrial waste.• Optimize our flows and our customers’ flows.
